  • Transported 132,000 Doses of Vaccines from Mumbai – Juba via Nairobi Hub and Syringes from Dubai – Juba via Nairobi Hub
  • Transported 360,000 Doses of Vaccines from Mumbai – Aden via Nairobi Hub and Syringes from Dubai – Aden via Nairobi Hub

  • Total of 885,000 Doses were distributed in West & East Africa which were performed on a CRJ 200 aircraft

VALUE ADDED SERVICES

Astral Aviation offers Value Added Services for Vaccines & Pharma in its Nairobi Hub:-

  • Dangerous Goods Packing & Documentation
  • Training – Handling of Dry Ice as Refrigerant
  • Safe Re-Packing  of Vaccines to the appropriate type of packings required
  • Re-Icing in Airline Handling Shades – This has to be done in a ventilated and secluded area, as Dry Ice produces sufficient amount of Carbon
  • Dioxide Gas that is asphyxiant, with the require permissions and authorizations.
  • Marking, Labelling and ensuring compliance as per the ICAO/IATA DG Regulations
  • Ensuring the right types of data loggers are used,  that have either Lithium metal batteries or nickel hydride batteries, whichever is applicable in compliance with the ICAO/IATA DG Regulation.
