Airbridge into Mozambique

Astral Aviation Ltd is proud to have supported an innovative humanitarian logistics solution enabling the rapid movement of life-saving relief cargo for communities affected by severe flooding in Mozambique by coordinating an air-bridge from Dubai to Beira via its Nairobi Hub.

Under this operation, 95 tons of humanitarian cargo was uplifted from Dubai World Central (DWC) to Nairobi on wide-body freighter aircrafts, utilising Astral Aviation’s Interline capabilities and Nairobi hub connectivity.

From Nairobi, the relief supplies are being efficiently connected onward to Beira, Mozambique, using B737-400F freighters, ensuring timely delivery into flood-affected regions where surface access remains severely constrained.

This solution highlights the importance of flexible air cargo networks, multi-aircraft coordination, and strong partnerships in overcoming disrupted infrastructure and delivering critical humanitarian assistance at scale.
