Astral sponsors Flower Logistics Africa 2016

Astral Aviation is pleased to confirm that it has jointly sponsored the Flower Logistics Africa 2016 Conference from 08 – 09 November 2016 at the Radisson Blu, Nairobi.

The theme of the conference is  “From farm to vase: Building sustainable cut flower supply chain”.

The joint-sponsorship with the Network Aviation Group marks the 3rd Anniversary of the B747-400F partnership between Astral Aviation, Network Aviation Group and Atlas Air on the Nairobi – London, Stansted Route which operates twice-weekly with an available capacity of 220 tons per week.

Astral CEO, Mr Sanjeev Gadhia, will be a panelist on Day-1 – Tuesday, November 8 between 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. Theme of the session: Building sustainable cut flower supply chain.

Network Aviation Group, Ms Sarah Wangui, will be a panelist on Day 2 from 10 to 11.30am: Trade agreements for market access – the pros and cons for the flower industry in Africa.
